If the idea of boosting your income sounds appealing, keep reading as I’m about to tell you some of the methods people just like you are using to boost their income on the internet.
At this point its important to say – YES there are ‘Get Rich Quick’ scams out there on the internet BUT there are also many ways honest people, who are willing to put in a little work can make money online.
Here are just some:
1) eCommerce and/or selling on eBay
This is one of the most obvious methods of making money on the internet and certainly a valid one. One thing to consider before starting an online shop, is the amount of work involved in packaging and shipping goods.
For this reason, selling digital products can offer a more flexible way of making money.
2) Paid Membership Sites
Paid membership websites are a great way to boost your income. By sharing knowledge, experience and expertise with paying members via a secured website you have the opportunity to earn a monthly income which is only limited by your ability to market the product.
The internet gives you fantastic tools which can be used to create content simply and make it available on demand. This means its possible to set up your business to practically run without you.
Some of the more successful membership sites can make up to $10 000′s per month.
3) Information products
Information products are an other great way of boosting your income. By packaging your knowledge, experience and expertise in to a product like an ebook, seminar or online/CD/DVD course, you have the potential to earn anywhere from $10 to $10 000′s per month.
So why are information products so great? You only need to create them once, then they can be resold over and over again, meaning your profit is only limited by your marketing efforts. This is particularly true with digital products which can be automatically sold and delivered while you sleep.
4) Affiliate sales
With the growth of the internet, it has become simpler to find great affiliate opportunities.
You make a profit by reselling an existing information product and receiving a pre-set commission offered by the owner of the product. Commission may vary from 2% to 100% depending on the product.
You can sell affiliate products in numerous ways (depending on the creator’s terms and conditions), including using Twitter, Facebook, Adwords, on your website or via email newsletters.
5) Blogging
Blogging is up there with my favourite ways to make money online.
By producing regular interesting content (text/video/audio) and attracting a loyal audience you can build up strong base for your online business which over time, you’ll be able to monetize.
A proven formula for monetization includes the selling of your own information product/service along with affiliate products and advertising which giving you 3 income streams. This particular formula has worked for some bloggers who now make a 6 figure income.
